The one you forgot to pour into...

Spoiler: it’s YOU...

Hey Ya'll Hey!

Last week's message was so well received, thank you to everyone who provided feedback.

Now that you've identified where your energy is going and your need for that energy to return back to you,  let's dive into Part 2 of the "Tend to Your Radius" series...

You’re the planner. The peacemaker. The provider.
The strategist. The nurturer. The fix-it friend.

But behind the logistics and leadership,
there’s a quiet voice asking:

When will I tend to me?

Self-care isn’t a luxury; it’s your first line of alignment.
When your body is tired, when your mind is racing, when your soul is frayed at the edge
That’s not weakness. That’s a signal.

You don’t owe anyone your burnout.
You owe yourself your presence.

Start small.

A quiet morning.
A walk with no phone.
A massage where you’re not just relaxing; you’re returning.

✨ You are the source, not just the servant. Tend to yourself like you matter.

Because you do!

Self-care isn’t indulgent, it’s essential.
It’s not about spa days or silence (though those help)
It’s about staying connected to yourself while the world pulls on you.

It’s a signal to pour back in.

✨ Your wellbeing is NOT optional. It’s the source of your clarity, creativity, and peace.

Your Anchor This Week:

Choose ONE day for self-devotion this week. Here are 10 ways to honor it:
  1. Take yourself on a solo date.
No errands. No obligations. Just joy.
  2. Wake up and start slow.
No phone. Just breath, stillness, and something warm in your cup.
  3. Block off a “non-negotiable” hour.
Whether it’s a nap, journaling, yoga, or walking in silence, make it yours.
  4. Speak kindly to yourself out loud.
YES, say it. Remind your nervous system who you are and that you’re safe.
  5. Play music and move your body freely.
    Not for exercise. For expression.
  6. Write yourself a letter from your future self.
Let the wiser, softer you speak to the version that needs reassurance now.
  7. Take a “yes-free” day.
Give yourself permission to pause, decline, or delegate without guilt. Exercise the power of "NO"
  8. Choose one thing to release.
A thought. A habit. A digital distraction. Let it go for 24 hours and feel the shift.
  9. Do something your younger self would’ve loved.
Finger paint. Swing at the park. Buy the candy. Let them come out and play.
  10. Book the massage. Or the class. Or the therapy.
Invest in your own care the way you do for others.

Take your time... call your energy, light and power back to you.

We're in this together... YOU GOT THIS !!

Warmly,

Welcome to “Tend to Your Radius”

7/28/2025

You may know me as the hands behind Nenriki Therapy, but beyond massage, I care deeply about how we hold space for ourselves in a world that constantly asks us to give, do, and carry more.

When you carry responsibility for people, outcomes, businesses, or communities it’s easy to feel like you're never doing enough.

There’s always more to fix, more to give, more to manage.

But here’s the deeper truth:
You weren’t meant to serve everyone.
You were assigned a specific circle. A sacred radius.
Your energy has a purpose. Your leadership has a place.
You don’t need to be everywhere, just fully present where you’re meant to be.

"TEND TO YOUR RADIUS" is a 4-part series designed to help you return to what matters most:

Not how far you reach, but how present you are with what’s been assigned to you.
Whether you’re leading a business, guiding a team, raising a family, or just trying to stay grounded; you are someone others count on.

Now it’s time to count yourself in, too.

This series is your permission to step back from the pressure of more and reconnect with what’s most aligned, most rooted, most you.

Each week, you’ll receive a message with reflection, encouragement, and a gentle self-care challenge to help you realign and replenish.

✨ Your presence is already powerful. Let’s bring it back to center.
Let’s begin with presence, not pressure.

Your Anchor This Week:

Pause today and ask yourself: Where is your energy going, and is any of it returning to you?

Track where your energy is going this week. Make ONE adjustment to bring it back to YOU.

Warmly,

Faith E. Smash, LMT

Happy Mother's Day

5/11/2025

Picture
This Mother’s Day, all of us at Nenriki Therapy pause to honor the many expressions of motherhood — those who are mothers, those who have lost, those who long to be, those who nurture, and those who hold mothering energy in quiet, unseen ways.

We recognize that this day brings joy for many and tenderness for others. Whether you're celebrating, remembering, or simply moving gently through the day, we’re holding space for your experience.

May you feel seen. May you feel supported. And may you find moments of peace and care for yourself.

Let this be an invitation to receive the same care you so generously give to others.

With love and gratitude,
Team Nenriki

Healing through presence, touch, and community.
